Match the message people clicked
Read the ad and the first screen of its destination side by side. Is the same business, category and offer present? Does the heading tell visitors where they are? Remove ambiguous promises that need a long explanation below. Keep the primary action visible without covering product information or making navigation difficult.
Make information easy to inspect
Organize accurate product information, available supporting documentation, contact details and relevant policies in predictable places. Use descriptive links instead of a row of identical “learn more” buttons. Do not use a badge or decorative scientific graphic to imply a certification the business does not hold. Give important documents meaningful names.
Walk through the mobile journey
Use a small screen and a touch keyboard. Check that labels remain visible, fields are easy to select and errors explain the fix. Open the image viewer, menu and accordions. A sticky call to action should leave room for content and final form controls, including when the keyboard is open.
Measure a defined next step
Choose the meaningful event: a qualified inquiry, completed order or another agreed action. Verify that event and its value in the actual implementation. Record the page version and date when making changes so later reporting has context. Treat a conversion-rate change as an observation until the comparison has enough support.
Put it into practice
Review message match, information access, mobile navigation and event accuracy before adding traffic.
