Why peptide ads get rejected: what to review before appealing

Peptide ads rejected on Meta, TikTok or Google? Use a structured review of the decision, product, creative and destination before making changes or appealing.

When peptide ads are rejected, start with the stated reason and the actual offer. Repeatedly changing headlines without diagnosing the issue can waste time and leave the same problem in place. Separate an ad rejection from an account restriction and from an approved campaign that simply is not delivering.

The steps below are our recommended investigation process. They do not establish eligibility for a prohibited product or guarantee that an appeal will succeed.

Save the decision before editing anything

Record the platform, account, ad ID, date, exact policy label and destination URL. Capture the submitted creative and the page as it appeared at submission. If the account itself is restricted, record that decision separately.

A short incident log makes it easier to distinguish one repeat issue from several unrelated decisions. It also gives the owner and media buyer a common reference instead of relying on memory.

Identify which layer needs attention

There are several different questions to investigate:

  • Product: Is this specific offer eligible in the intended market?
  • Advertiser: Does the business meet applicable authorization or certification requirements?
  • Creative: Is the text, imagery or audio making an unsupported or inappropriate claim?
  • Destination: Does the website accurately represent the offer and business?
  • Account: Is there a separate access, verification or restriction issue?

A creative rewrite cannot fix an ineligible product. A new landing-page design cannot substitute for a permission the business does not hold. Review the channel-suitability guide before ordering another batch of ads.

Review the destination as carefully as the ad

Inspect the advertised page on mobile, then follow the links a visitor can use to reach product information and checkout. Review visible copy, testimonials, product descriptions, pop-ups and offer conditions.

Check for contradictory statements: a research positioning on one screen and a personal-use promise on another, for example. Verify that stock, prices, discounts and shipping information are accurate. Fix the cause of a mismatch rather than concealing it.

Google's healthcare policy explicitly addresses ads and destinations and prohibits certain substances regardless of claims that they are legal. Its requirements also vary by category and location. See Google's healthcare and medicines policy.

Make a documented correction

Write down what changed and why it addresses the decision. If the problem is a misleading claim, remove it from all relevant formats, not just the primary text. If the offer is ineligible, stop that promotion and reassess the marketing plan.

Keep the corrected version available for your team. This prevents an older caption, video or product description from reintroducing the same problem later.

Appeal when you have a factual basis

Use the platform's official review or appeal route where available. Provide a concise explanation of the business, the offer, the decision and the correction or evidence supporting your request. Keep the explanation consistent with the destination.

An appeal should answer the decision. A competitor screenshot is not evidence that your business qualifies. Avoid claiming certifications or permissions that you cannot substantiate.

What if an ad is approved but gets no sales?

That is a different investigation. Confirm delivery and purchase tracking, then inspect the customer journey and campaign economics. Approval is not a performance guarantee. Read our peptide ad performance diagnostic before rebuilding a campaign solely because a day was weak.

Frequently asked questions

Should I create another account after a restriction?

Our recommendation is to prepare multiple business-owned ad accounts and Pages in advance rather than depending on just one or two. In our experience working in this niche, restrictions are a recurring operational risk, so continuity planning should happen before launch.

If an account or Page is restricted, prioritize keeping eligible campaigns running through other authorized assets where the platform permits it. In parallel, investigate the restriction, address the underlying issue and request a review of the affected asset. The goal is to minimize avoidable downtime while recovery work continues.

Is removing the word peptide enough?

No wording change establishes permission for the actual offer. Check the product and destination before focusing on individual words.

What should I send to a specialist?

Send the exact decision, submitted creative, destination URL, target market and relevant business documents through a secure channel. Never send your password. Discuss a campaign review with that context ready.

Why was my peptide ad rejected when the image has no product name?

An image is only one part of the promotion. A logo-only image does not establish that the product, business or destination is eligible. Review the exact policy decision alongside the advertised page, linked product information and the market you selected; do not assume the image caused the rejection.

TikTok explicitly says landing pages cannot display prohibited products even when the ad promotes something else. Its landing-page requirements also address business information and mobile usability. This does not establish how a particular rejected ad was assessed; the decision and account evidence still need review.

What should I check before changing the domain or account?

First determine whether the decision concerns the product, advertiser permissions, creative, destination or account status. A different domain or replacement account does not answer those questions. Keep the same truthful description of the business across the review, and use the platform's official appeal route when you have evidence that the decision is mistaken.

Do not hide the offer from reviewers, rename a restricted product to disguise it or use a separate destination to conceal what visitors will buy. If the offer is ineligible, stop that promotion. If the error is fixable, document the exact correction and where it was applied.

Why can a competitor run a similar ad when mine is rejected?

A competitor's live ad is not an eligibility certificate. You cannot infer its approvals, targeted markets or review history from the creative. Record your own stated policy reason, product classification and permissions before comparing presentations. Copying the competitor's image may reproduce neither its business situation nor its review outcome.

What evidence makes a rejection review useful?

Prepare a compact incident record: submitted ad and ID, decision text and date, target market, destination URL, screenshots of the destination, relevant business documents, and a list of changes since the previous review. Keep account restrictions separate from individual ad decisions. Remove customer data before sharing evidence.

Download the ad rejection review checklist, then bring the completed record to a paid media review. The checklist is our investigation method; it is not a platform approval test.
