Build a product and market brief
Record the actual product category, intended audience, destination country and the claims on your store. Keep product documentation alongside the brief. A label alone does not establish platform eligibility.
Separate channel fit from creative quality
Good production cannot make an ineligible offer eligible. Review the current platform requirements for the exact category and location before spending on assets or a launch.
Review the full destination
Include product pages, linked pages, reviews and checkout in the review. Compare what the customer sees with what the ad says. Remove contradictions rather than hiding them.
Define a useful next step
The result of the review may be a suitable paid channel, a need for additional documentation, or a recommendation to postpone paid acquisition. Document the decision so the team knows what can be tested.
Put this review into practice
For a launch brief, put the exact product category, intended buyer, target country and destination URL on one line. Add a column for the evidence still needed. A blank evidence column means the launch decision is still outstanding, not that the offer has passed a review.
Your working checklist
- Write the real product and intended use.
- Record the target market and proposed channel.
- List unresolved documentation and destination questions.
- Assign an owner to each unresolved item.
